The Chronos GO Deluxe is the second 1.8″ microSATA solid state drive from Mushkin, following Atlas. This SATA III drive is capable of reaching maximum sequential speeds of 560 MB/s and 525 MB/s for read and write respectively. Max IOPS is said to be 90,000 at low 4k aligned random write disk access. The Chronos GO Deluxe is available in 120, 240 and 480 GB capacities.
Controlling the SanDisk 24nm Toggle Mode NAND flash modules inside the Chronos GO Deluxe is SandForce’s SF-2281 controller. This
makes the SSD one of the several drives that utilizes the said controller. While this drive follows the 1.8″ form factor, the connection is microSATA which is different from mSATA. Users will need an adapter if they wish to use this on other ports. The Chronos GO Deluxe comes with the standard three-year warranty.

All in all, we were very impressed with the performance displayed through such a small form factor SSD and an SSD that contains an exterior shell unlike the mSATA SSD.
