Kingston’s SSDNow V200 is the SATA III version of the SSDNow V100. As such, it has a higher maximum sequential read speed (300 MB/s) and 
write speed (230 MB/s) than the V100. Although it is a SATA III drive, the speeds of the V200 is not comparable to other SATA III drives like Hyper X or TeraNova. Its maximum IOPS read is 36,000 and its maximum IOPS write is 4,ooo.
The V200 is available in three capacities, namely 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. It only absorbs 0.491 W when idle and 1.87 W when active. Similar to the SATA II version, the V200 runs smoothly and silently making it a great replacement for the traditional hard drive. Kits included in the purchase contains cables, brackets, cloning software and HDD enclosure and installation video. The Mean Time Between Failure of the SSDNow V200 is 1,000,000 hours. Warranty is at three years with 24/7 technical support.

Reviews:
The results are rather all over the board with this SSD. Start up/shut down is very quick and the PCMark Vantage tests show more real world figures. Pairing this with the inherent reliability of Kingston products (especially with this drive geared towards consumers), you get a reasonably quick and reliable SSD for a good price.

Most users don’t need the best performance, nor do they want to pay top shelf prices. Kingston has a very nice offering for that crowd with the V200 line of SSDs that have respectable performance and affordable pricing.

Over all our experience with Kingston’s SSD Now one and I would like to award a solid 10/10 for its value vs performance matrices. A great alternative for your old school mechanical hard drives.
