Performance 3 is a series of SATA 3 SSDs that consists of three capacities – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The drives’ performance increase with size; the 64GB version is capable of transfer speeds of up to 365 MB/s sequential reads and 110 MB/s sequential writes, the 128GB version 410 MB/s reads and 210 MB/s writes and the 256GB units 480 MB/s and 320 MB/s, respectively.
To achieve the highest possible write speeds, your motherboard must be equipped with the SATA 3 6GBps interface.
The controller is provided by Marvell and the drivs are thus comparable to Intel’s 510 series and the Micron/Crucial Real SSD C400/m4.

Corsair’s Performance 3 Series is a big step up from the previous generation with the SATA 6Gbps interface giving it room to stretch its legs.
