The SSDNow V300 directly follows Kingston’s V200 and like it is also a SATA III solid state drive. This drive comes in 60 GB, 120 GB
and 240 GB capacities and is powered by SandForce’s SF-2281 controller. The SSDNow V300 is Kingston’s first SSD to use Toshiba 19nm NAND flash.
This drive can reach maximum sequential read and write speeds of 450 MB/s. The top IOPS write is reached by the 60 GB model at 60,000 while all models can reach IOPS read of 45,ooo. The SSNow V300 has a life expectancy of 1,000,000 hours MTBF and comes with a three-year warranty with technical support. Three upgrade kits are available (desktop, notebook, desktop/notebook) with each having cloning software.

As a Sandforce-based drive, the Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB performed better with compressible rather than with incompressible files, at least in writing tests.
